On tap at Elizabeth Station with Ash. Pours a dark browh with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee and some caramel notes, slightly sweet. Taste is the same. Quite plain stuff, but easy drinkable.

Draft 12 oz pour at Chainline. Golden orange pour with a patchy head. Orange fruit constant aroma, with a subtle sweetness. Flavor is citrus and orange heavy, with a straw grain heavy background. Dusty malt reminder throughout. Fruit flavor is juicy, but less sweet than expected, which was nice. True citrus flavors. Mango too. Just a bit haunted by the grain bill for me, couple with a bitterness. This beer is very close to being great. Even with a less than favorable malt bill for me, the fruit and hop content of this saves it. Enjoyable pale for sure.

Draft pour pint at Chainline. Cooper orange pour with a thin fizz head. Super sweet malt, doughy aroma. Flavor is slightly less sweet than the aroma suggests, but still heavy. Maple malt. Soft hop. Overall a middle of the line beer in a style I try hard to enjoy at a high level. Not bad. UPDATE: tried a year later. Poured to a dimpled mug at Chainline. Much more to my taste this time around. Cracker, bready malts, creamy. Flavorful. Good festbier.

Draft pour pint at Chainline. A total wrap up the work day kind of beer. When will the IPL finally become an official style. It deserves it. Got my vote. Shiny golden pour.with a patchy head. Lager typical soft straw aroma. Flavor is waxy grains and grassy hops. In that order. Not mind blowing but refreshing for sure. I could drink more of these .

Black color, large head (too much?). Mild aroma of wood and oak. Lean body, much weaker than expected, roasted malts, a bit of chocolate, lightly earthy, some oak, and fairly boozy.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. All the fresh hop pales this time of year, its nice to see it displayed in a Belgian. Or Saison. Or whatever you call it. Its good, I know that much. Cloudy pale yellow pour with a fading head. This beer pretty much hit on point with the expectations. Soft straw, Belgian yeast aroma. Flavor is cool, refreshing, slightly bitter, and threatens to be tart, but its all talk. The hops and Belgian yeast flavor qualities don’t blend perfectly for me, but the result isn’t bad. Pretty refreshing. Bonus points for being very unique. I feel like this beer is close to being a stand alone, fantastic beer. Almost.

Bottle - Soured dark roast and cocoa. Deep brown with a frothy light brown head. Light soured dark malts and some effervescent sweetness. A little off I think.
