0.375 l bottle from ’Firma Bier’, bottle #681/3800, best before June 2017. Clear, very dark ruby with a thin, soapy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sourish, a bit sweetish, very fruity and slightly funky aroma of massive sour cherries and raspberries, elderberry, blackcurrant, vinegar, some sweat and a bit oak. Rather sweet, only moderately sour, heavily fruity and slightly funky taste of again massive sour cherries and raspberries, elderberry, blackcurrant, some sweat and some vinegar as well as a touch of oak, followed by a relatively short, moderately tart, slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, just slightly astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, lots of fruit with a shy background of lambic character, maybe already too sweet, but definitely a well-made and really interesting fruit lambic.

This ipa hides it's strength quite well. The hoppiness isn't harsh, but instead somewhat mellow and the malt backs it up quite well. One the best ipas I've had in a while. 2016 advent.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy light amber color with generous head. The malt profile is on the pale side, crackery, nice; the hopping is aggressively resiny, but also with light earthy notes like most IPAs in Europe.
Well done.

Hazy and with a light amber. Bubbly head. Has a faiirly piney hop aroma. Very piney taste, light orange, a lot of malt. Heavy, has a fair bit of alcohol, though the hops start to really drown it out.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bready caramel malt and subdued earthy hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with resinous hops, earthy notes and bready caramel malt. A little old but it's held up nicely. Really good.
