Draught, Euston Tap, London. A new brewery to me, sounds more like a dodgy Japanese electronics firm. Murky burnt orange colour with a minimal whiteish head. Nose wasn’t really stimulating the senses, but some sweet and hoppy notes there. Hoppage not quite on the money and the balance seemed a bit off. OK bitterness in the finish and drinkable enough, but nothing too special really.

On tap at The Euston Tap, London Sat’ 13th November 2010 Pours hazy orange/amber with a filmy white head soft in the mouth, touch chewy. Some rustic hoppiness, late bitterness its nice but not something that I’d rave about, fine. Score: 6.0
Had this again at Zizniva Gumovka, Ceské Budêjovice, Czech Rep', Friday 19th June 2026. I'm adding this simply because after 16 years from my tasting it, it's actually still the same, okay it's a bit better but it reinforces my view that it's fine without ever being exciting. Score: 6.4

Draft at the Euston Tap, London. Pours dark brown with a light, beige head. Great aroma of citrus hops and some lightly roasted, dark malts. Flavor is exquisite. Great dark malt profile with hints of coffee, good sweetness, then citrusy bitterness and light roast. Medium in body with medium to lively carbonation. Finishes sweet with great, citrusy hops and some lingering malts. This is so, so good.

Draft at the Euston Tap, London. Pours a lightly hazy, dark gold with a strong, creamy white head. Aroma seems a bit weak. Some soggy, earthen hops, light, caramel malt notes. Flavor is lightly sweet with an odd bitterness. Not bad, mind you, but...odd. Some notes of nuts and yeast, too. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Finishes with some more perceptible hops of the earthy variety, along with more caramelish maltiness. Decent and interesting.

On tap at Velká Klášterní Restaurace on 10th July 2010. Deep red-brown with yellow-white head giving partial lacing. Strong maltiness and a yeasty aroma alongside notes of earthy pungency. Tangy citrus on tongue towards a finish that becomes drier with each sip, on a zingy mouthfeel.

On tap: A bit hazy, greenish-golden coloured, small stable white head with a little lace; mild piney-hoppy nose with fruity and malty traces underneath; moderate to solid clean bitter flavour, a bit fizzy; dry aromatic hoppy finish with an illusion of pineapples. Good session brew....
