Poured from 473mL can (stamped Bountii #5; Jan25). Black with small beige head. Mild cacao, decent swath of coconut (though verges on suntan lotion coconut), very feint vanilla. It's a touch artificial, but decent. Definitely Bounty bar inspired.

Aroma: toasted oak, molasses, some berries.
Taste: along the same lines, a lot of toasted barrel up to the ashy point. Boozy. Moderately to highly sweet.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Old woody bourbon barrel, molasses sugars, feint nutty smoke, boozy. Barrels really linger. Decent.

Inky. No head. Aroma has a big cacao nib character, rich, great barrel character. On the palate, similar character, that bit of umami, that's extra rich boil. Refined barrel, solid base, deep sugars. Excellent.

Quite pale, and hazy. The aroma has a bit of pine, and some bright stone fruit accents. Mild pale malt, and a fairly assertive hop note that's lemony, piney, a touch grassy. Medium bitterness. Good stuff.

Bottle pour at the Magnet courtesy of Nigel, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma is rich, with deep bourbon barrels, vanilla, and molasses. Flavour is rich, with lots of bourbon barrels, vanilla, molasses, and a hint of smokiness. Rich malts and wonderfully aged. This is frankly fantastic.

Bottle pour at The Magnet, courtesy of Nigel. Pours black with no head. Roasty malt with a ton of bourbon barrel on the nose; rich and well-integrated. Flavour is nutty, lots of good Bourbon and rich malts. Full-bodied. This is very well-done, great use of barrels to build on the base beer.
