From a can its not rose' in color, not pink or anything, just plain clear pale like a lager. Has a decent attractive nose. Pretty good co2. Decent flavor, lacks many of the rude aspects of dry apple cider. Goes down fairly easy. Hides its alky content very well. Not a bad session. A little processed on the finish but overall not too obtuse. Can't make ou the so called rose' in this stuff.

Pours yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of wheat, flat malt. Taste has vine must, some lemon, plain malt. Palate has continuation of the vine must, somewhat hoppy, rich wheat base. Good.

On tap at Gillette Stadium. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and pine. Slick body, juicy, grapefruit, melon, pine, nice bitterness, very good.

Can shared in London - picked up in the US. Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. Has some crackery, dried pale malts, dried apricots. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more crackers, dried citrus peel. Drinks alright.

Super odd, almost pale white coloured body with some haze, a very fast-dying pure white head and an odd ghostly glow. Aroma of citrus, oranges, light grasses, hay, flowers and a dash of candy. Ultra light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes up front with a dash of soap and hop pellets, then shows some of the citrus flavours with lemons, grapefruit and even some oranges noticeable, all with a very dry and floral bite that has a touch of the grassiness and funky yeast elements as well, but ends up being quite dry and very easy-drinking. Aftertaste is mild, grassy, watery, herbal and showing some very light hop bitterness with a tiny bit of fruits, but not much of anything else. Overall, a decent enough Light IPA that does have some flavour and bitterness, but isn't really what I like, that said, if you want a beer that hardly has any calories, yet does have flavour, choose this one! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 19-June-2020 for US$2,15 sampled at my house here in Washington on 06-July-2020.

Pours light hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste has bright grapefruit notes, light hop oils, floral. Palate has lingering resins from the mouth, light and relaxed. Crisp and tasty, if not full bodied.

Crisp, pure golden coloured body with a very thin, pure white head, only a centimetre or so tall, that fades fairly quickly and leaves almost nothing at all on top after a few seconds. Aroma of rich malts with some biscuits, light grain, subtle fruits and a heavy hit of lager yeasts, all with a smooth-ish citrus twang and some light astringency as well from metallic notes. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and hay-like flavours at first with a light biscuity and yeast flavour soon afterwards that shows the light lager yeasts and subtle bitterness, along with some mild German [Saaz, perhaps?] hops without any real alpha acids, but showing some smooth flavours that add to the bitterness and bring in a dry quality at the end. Aftertaste shows some dry funk and grass along with the light earthy malts and some biscuity yeast towards the end that ends up being fairly easy-drinking, but devoid of sweetness or fruitiness at all, which is okay, just relatively straight-forward. Overall, a fairly nice, easy-going, simple and dry lager that doesn't have many astringent or pungent qualities, but does have some smooth malts, dryness and even a glimmer of fresh hops coming through make this worthwhile in the summer, perhaps not making a special trip to any store to try to find this, but a good beer, for sure. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 20-May-2002 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington, a few blocks away on 16-July-2020.

Hazy golden, blonde, straw and raw honey coloured body, with a nice thick, four to five centimetre tall deep tan head - very nice! Aroma of soap, citrus fruit, tropically fruits and a touch of pure candy - very nice and robust in the nose with some malt noticeable, but nothing pungent. Medium-bodied; Rich almost toasted grain malt notes with a lot of astringency and powerful aspects that show a peated malt bite, some earth and more bready yeast notes that hit much stronger than the hop flavours, which still exist, but show the piney, floral and lightly citrus notes without anything tropical here. Aftertaste is relatively strong, with the yeast, pungent grain and astringent notes by far the strongest, with only a touch of hop notes and complexity on the tail end with almost no sweetness at all. Overall, disappointing as I though fruit would play more with this one, but it wasn't to be. Not recommended, but still decent enough to try. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 28-April-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-June-2020.

Hazy pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Citrus, malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with a lemon-lime character and notes of bready malt and mild hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrus and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Fairly hazy golden glowing body with a straw-like glow, but a massive six to seven centimetre tall soapy tan head. Aroma of grass, flowers, white grapes, lemons, grapefruit and a dash of pepper - quite strong throughout. Medium-bodied; Odd candy-like sweetness at first with a hint of citric acid, a ton of floral and grassy hop flavours with a deep malt backbone, some soapy notes, a hint of perfume and quite a deep and bitter bite at the end from all the hops, with an astringent and powerful finish. Aftertaste is relatively clean, with some cleanser, grapefruit, lemon and floral notes, with a lot of outstanding hoppiness and some dry hay and malt at the tail end. Overall, a very interesting, brut IPA with a look of a New England IPA, but the profile and bitterness of a super dry brut champagne, and the complexity of an Imperial IPA with all the astringent, pungent and alcohol flavours. Good to try, especially fresh!
