Description
A lot goes into making great tasting beer and spirit. It takes the right ingredients delicately balanced together to produce that great taste you’re looking for. It takes experience and a team of brewmasters and distillers who are dedicated to the craft of beverages. It takes an understanding of what people want when they crack one open on a warm summer night, a weekend spent catching up with good friends, or at the end of a long hike.

At Prickly Moses Brewing Co we think it takes all of the above, but we also think it takes something else. We call it Otway magic, but you might know her as Mother Nature. We’re an independent brewery and the home of the Prickly Moses Brewery, Forbidden Fruit Cidery and Redwood Distillery. Some local brands you know and love.

Keg at Great Ocean Road Brewhouse, Apollo Bay. Quite sweet floral aroma. Good black IPA that blends the grassy hops and schwarzbier characteristics well.

Keg at Great Ocean Road Brewhouse, Apollo Bay. Almost smoked aroma and taste with British Isles type of (jamtlnad milky) feel. Not bad as it actually has a good sweetness that offsets the rough edges.

Keg at Great Ocean Road Brewhouse, Apollo Bay. Not much aroma at all. Golden ale look. Clean golden ale taste but lacking some energy in terms of sweetness and bitterness. Smeh.

19/10/2022. Can from icons in the food area at Melbourne Airport T4. Pours clear orange gold with a modest frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, stone fruits, grass, light herbal weedy edge. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Nice sweet fruity finish. Well done.
