On tap at Rewind, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is mostly a function of lime, with little else to speak of. Flavour is clean, with plenty of tart lime, a touch of fermented out agave if I strain for it, and a moderately acidic finish. Refreshing—that’s the nicest thing I can say about it.

On tap at Rewind. Pours clear pale blonde with a white head. Salt, lime, and straw on the nose. Flavour has plenty of lime juice, a bit saline, with thin dry malts. Pointless gimmick.

Opaque yellow, fluffy white head.. Nice citrus nose/palate. Touch of sweetness in mid. Thin as per style, gassy with nice lacing.

Amber, just a slight haze. Thin head. Lots of bitterness. Good pale malt base with slight biscuit. Piney, resinous, a bit of orange. High grade IPA.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some diacetyl unfortunately, along with piney hops, and citrus. Flavour does indeed have the diacetyl that totally ruins this for me; whatever nice qualities it has—dry piney hops, citrusy bitterness—is ruined by the butter. Sad… since Coast Mountain has been killing it lately with the west coast IPAs.

16oz @ Alex's (thx for the beer, man!).
Aroma: bold, dank, a bit flowery.
Taste: along the same lines, moderately bitter.
Overall: ok.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has a wonderful bouquet of piney hops, resinous hop oils, light woody pine, and some melony tang. Flavour has more dankness, with some pot-like resinous hop oils, pine, light melon, and just enough pale biscuity malt base. Fantastic balance, great hop expression. Coast Mountain continues to kill it with these westies.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear gold with a white head. A lot of harsh herbal grass on the nose with some fruity NZ hops as well. Flavour has harsh herbal notes and a dusting of NZ hops. Lingering bitterness on the finish. It's fine cold, with some raw onion coming through as it warms up. Disappointing.

On tap at The Magnet, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma has a nice dry, earthy, crusty bready malt character. Flavour is dry, with earthy notes, dry bready malt, and toasted malt. Dry, easy-drinking. Nothing special but competent.

Flavour is clean and punchy, with a wonderfully tangy hop character, light pine, melon, and crisp biscuity malt. Tangy, pine, nicely bitter, and wonderfully balanced.
