Dark brown, thick head. Toasty aroma. Moderate bitterness, some toffee malt, but it comes across a bit thin. Medium bitterness in the finish, a bit of piney hop. Left a little something on the table here, with the way the malts come across.

Opaque, thick head. Kind of dull-looking. Floral hop, lots of alcohol and some overripe peaches. Lacks hop bitterness, which means the sticky malt and alcohol dominate the finish. That is not ideal.

Bright pale gold. Thick head. Bitter up front, clean biscuity malt, light pear and lychee fruitiness.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of oily pine, a touch of reins, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with lots of bright piney, grassy hops, balanced by a dry, crackery malt base. Finishes piney, crackery, and dry. Not the most vibrant hop expression, but the construction is good and drinkability is very high.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear gold with a white head. Allium, pine, and a touch of citrus. Flavour is very allium-dominated with some pine. Mouthfeel is a bit slick. Hop expression is clean, but too much Citra I think. Good IPA, but inferior hops.

Effervescent and pale, with a slight chill haze. Toasty, somewhat English character, medium bitterness and a biscuity, slightly sweet malt character. Well-balanced.

473 ml can. Pours a pale amber with light head. Aromas of dusty grapefruit, resin, soft pine, white pepper and biscuity malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on the resin. Bitter finish. I’m really liking this. Canned on Mar 8, so fairly recent. Seems to be much improved and like a Fat Tug with a bit more resin.

473 ml can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of fruity ground coffee, chocolate, soy sauce, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of same. A little thin but nice enough for the ABV.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very mellow, with dry crackery malt, straw, and very faint bittering hops. Flavour is fairly crisp, with dry crackery malt, straw, and a touch of bitterness. Crisp and clean but not particularly interesting.
