On tap at Black Kettle, pours an opaque cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of oranges, citrus, some light floral hopping and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite subdued, with some bright citrus hops, biscuity malt and oranges. Very restrained but clean and bright. Decent.

Bottle from Seven Oaks Liquors, Abbotsford. Opaque mahogany under a small dark khaki head. Nose is roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, and pine. Light sweet molasses supporting a medium+ bitterness. Mouth is medium with average carbonation. 7/4/7-/3/15

Dark brown, not much head. Light choc, med body, low bitterness, some cocoa. I’d call this the basic stout, not catching much oatmeal character, would definitely like more body.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Aromas of old lemons and some indefinite fruit. Flavors of lemons and cardboard. Oh no...

On tap at Tap & Barrel, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is very muffled, with muffled citrus fruits of some sort. Flavour is fruity, with citrusy notes, dry hoppiness and a little egg white as fiulijn noted. Pretty muted and lame overall. Not impressive.

Draught at Tap Shack Coal Harbour
Hazy, pale blond color; the head looks like eggwhite. Mild cider aroma. But instead of complementing the flavor elements, they muffle each other.
Snakebite doesn’t seem.a food idea, and indeed it’s not.
Timid, shallow drink.

On tap at Black Kettle, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of crackery notes, biscuit, some Belgian yeast and light piney hops. Flavour is clean and well-balanced, with lots of crackery malt and light piney hops. Spiciness kicks in later from the Belgian yeast. Easy-drinking but rather timid.

Bottle, LDB. Dark brown colour. The aroma has chocolate and a little bit of citrus. Full body, nice roasty elements. Solid bitterness, not a lot of hop aroma. It’s not bad, mostly a hoppy robust porter.

Black color. A lot of roastiness, luckily also smooth, strong bitterness, some hop resins and some yeast. Not bad.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy amber color. The aroma is bready, candy section of a small town grocery shop, some chemicals. Semi-dry mouthfeel; the flavor is a mix of candy caramel and vegetables, tomatoes; robust bitterness.
A joke beer, so wrong…
