500 ml bottle from Beers of Europe - Yellow clear body, thin white head. Small herbal-hoppy nose, bit of sweet honey-lemon, very clean but dull and watery. The best Kenyan beer I’ve ever had.

Bottle, 4.2% at BBF13. Grainy aroma. Clear golden colour. White head. The flavour is watery and a little grainy. Not so unpleasant, but rather thin.

Bottle @ BBF13. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Faint aroma of yeast and hops. Sweetish, malty flavour with bitter notes of hops and a good deal of yeast. Paperlike finish. Drinkable but just this.

I tried this one at Disney Animal Kingdom. This is not a great beer but it really reminded me of the long lost Schmidts of Philadelphia - a beer flavor that imprinted in my mind in my teenage years when that was my dad’s beer of choice. +++ Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy straw yellow color with a small foamy white head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was grainy and sour. The flavor was grain, sour and tangy with a hint of fruit and sugar. Medium length sour, tangy and grainy finish. Medium body.

Aroma is mostly sweet grainy malt and corn. There is a medium low ester note and a slight sulfur character. No noticeable hop aroma. Pours a clear, pale yellow gold with a fairly thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges where it lingers slightly. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor starts with slight graininess and moderate to low corn note. Slightly sweet with low bitterness. Fairly clean, you can taste the water. Low fruit and floral esters and no hop flavor. Finish is very bland with only a slight sulfur and grain note. Way back of tongue there is a metallic twinge. Mouthfeel is light bodied and very crisp with medium strong carbonation. Faint astringency and faint alcohol warmth. This is very watery. Overall a bland boring beer even by American adjunct standards. Some of the sulfur notes that I get in American versions is missing which is nice, but the esters are too strong and the malt barely contributes any flavor; the hops contribute none. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
