Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate, vanilla, lactose, caramel and coffee. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long milk chocolate, vanilla and coffee finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle - Some grainy malts and sweet caramel and pine notes. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Grainy malts, some woody notes and a piney dry finish. Mellow and easy drinking.

Visuellement, on pourrait se méprendre avec une blanche et c’est vraiment très peu effervescent... Au nez, il n’y a que le pamplemousse blanc et c’est la même chose au goût. C’est si intense ce goût d’agrumes que ça masque tout le reste (et je suis un amateur du style)... Meilleure chance la prochaine fois; j’en ai acheté une caisse ;-(

Purchased at an IGA in Gatineau, QC. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy-frothy, slightly off-white head that stays long and gives out chunky-fluffy lacing. Aromas of fresh hops which I like. Grapefruit, grass, pine notes and eventually hints of tropical fruits. The taste starts on a not too crazy bitterness, but above average, leading into the grain. Seems to get more and more bitter as it goes. Nice dryness in the finish. Again, some decent exotic fruits. This is a pretty good IPA.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light citrus hoppy notes with some hints of tropical fruits. Taste is also dominated by citrusy notes with light tropical fruit notes with a light sweet malt base. Body is about average with OK carbonation. Not bad but I was expecting more floral hoppy notes with more pronounced hoppy notes of Citra and Bravo.

Pours a clean deep orange-copper colour with a big frothy beige head that stays long and leaves streaky-creamy lacing. Big aromas of dark fruits (dates, prunes, plums, raisins) sugars, caramel, toffee and roasted malts. The taste is not as powerful, but for me, goes now better. Not as sweet, better balance of the burnt malts with notes of wood and hops in the finish. At the last pour, becomes hazy with lots of tiny particles. Hops is almost minty. This is pretty well-brewed and worth seeking.

En fût au Brasseurs de Montréal St-Denis lors du Rallye Bières et Plaisirs 2014. Couleur brune foncée opaque, mousse moka pâle. Arôme de malt caramélisé, mélasse, alcool, café léger. Goût de malt caramélisé, caramel, alcool, café en arrière-goût. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen-dense.
