Description
Strange Brew was established in late 2015, when three friends and homebrewers decided that plastic buckets were no longer enough, and was officially introduced to the fans of craft beer on May 2017, with Jasmine IPA. We started our journey from Laconiki Brewery near the ancient city of Sparta, where we also produced three more beers under the name of Uncle Jam's Brewhouse Tales, which is our alternate one-off project. Being a true nomadic brewery,we now produce our beers at Chios Microbrewery on the namesake island. Uncompromising by default, Strange Brew is on it's way to change the beer status in Greece,which has come a long way already!

Can shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with bready pale malts, citrus fruits, a little biscuit, hay, rind. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Cloin for the can. A light haze on this slightly pale gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. The Eclipse and Nectaron hops bring a honeyish mango and floral sweet peach. Light finish. Drinkable and decent.

Can shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is floral citrus, tea leaves, wheat, midget gems. M flavour is composed of semi sweet, flabby, orange rind, loose wheat, floral citris.bitter. Little bitter.

Smooth, grassy and slightly grainy with some hay, citrus and maltiness. Crisp and crushable.

50cl can From Rat Race, Hania. Poured unclear, golden color. Surprisingly fresh and crisp with malts, grains and kellerbier like dustyness.

Can at home, Espoo. Color is slightly cloudy light golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, hops and malts. Fresh and nice

aroma is mild crisp hoppy, mineral watery. Flavor is tropical fruity and piney and grapefruity. it is like a very dry ipa with some sweet tropical fruits added to that.
