Bright amber. Medium head. Has a mellow fruity hop aroma. On the palate, a fair bit of malt chewiness, and it has some of that same fruity berryish hop character all the way through.

Draught at Urban Winery / Postmark, Vancouver
Hazy dark amber color. I like the malts, the deep caramel, with some biscuity note, but there is some vegetable note in the aroma and flavor, also some cheese smell. Correct bitterness level, but it doesn’t have the British character.
Not too bad, but unrefined.

Hazy golden color. It’s a bit spicy and malty, robust, but it also has too much vegetable notes, in the flavor.
Flawed. But not too bad.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is fairly restrained, with rustic farmhouse yeast and a pronounced but light earthiness. Flavour is like a biere de garde, with an aged rustic farmhouse yeast quality, slight earthiness and dry body. Solid but fairly boring.

On tap at Postmark, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by the tea, with a very flowery tea quality - no saison-like notes. Flavour is more saison-like, with notes of yeast and flowery tea. Absolutely nothing complex or very pleasant about this. Not offensive, but it's a pointless creation.

Slight haze, light amber. Light peppery, estery aroma. Light body, dryish, with honeyish, floral yeast character. Kind of thin.

On tap at Postmark, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out crackery malt and a rustic farmhouse quality. Flavour is similar, with notes of farmhouse yeast, subdued piney hop, and a crisp crackery malt finish. Really nice construction, with a lovely bitterness on the finish. Very good - nearly as good as the regular ISA.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh raspberries, with a slight artificial quality and some sweetness. Flavour is fairly floral, with a flowery raspberry quality dominating. Medium sweetness and barely any tartness. Easy to drink but not great.
