Bottle, bb yesterday. Murky light brown with a cm of white head. 3- Aroma of some bread crust, lots of mikan which comes across as a blend of grapefruit, kumquat and lime. In the bittersweet taste the citrus hits first then gradually melts into gentle bread then the whole thing dries out a little leaving citrus tinged bitterness. Pretty elegant.

(Bottle) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with citrus, mandarin, apricots, lychee, honey, caramel and some toffee. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of mandarin, lemon, orange peel, apricots, honey, spices and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. The yuzu character is quite balanced, making the beer highly drinkable. Nice one.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Almost no aroma at all (and no that is not corona robbing me of scent). Off gold clear mixed with murky sediment haze. Light saison like wheat flavour rather than wit. Quite a large lager vibe to this. Drinakble with odd pangs of nice (or odd) apple sour. Overall, very bland.

Baird Nihon Kouji Sour Ale Batch #4 mikan This beer has a Kansai connection as it also seems to be named “Base Station Kansai Celebration Ale”. It’s got a matte orange brown color with a fuzzy off white head (that was actually a slow gusher on opening). The aroma is citrus blossoms, yeast and a bit of tart wheat. Medium to light bodied with a raspy carbonic bit and a tangy mikan citrus flavor, sweet tarts and crackery wheat. It pairs well with apple pie. All in all a nice brew though not terribly sour.

Brown with a thin, creamy head. Aroma of caramel, a touch herbal, a background of ginger and sweat. Taste is mildly bitter with a low, underlying tartness. Body stays to the light side of medium, carbonation is mild. Okayish.

Tasting at Salesforce, bottle
Close to black, burnt terra. Dark caramel, light sweetness, burnt sugar, and some tobacco.
Robust beer, I wouldn't call it Imperial Stout though.
