On tap at Delirium, Gothenburg. Yellow/ orange colour with a white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, spices. Flavour is wheat, sour, yeast, citrus,coriander.

Bottle. Dark red color with small yellow head. Spices and mild chocolate in aroma with mild alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Crispily carbonated brew with chocolate and spices, mild alcohol and chocolate fit nicely in aftertaste.

Reddish tinted dark brown with a froathy light brown head. Soapy metallic aroma. Metallic caramel malt taste but not obvious as some.

Bottle at Brugs Beertje. Keizer Karel, Charles Quint. Golden. Very clear. with lasting white head. Some fruit, bit of dead malt, bit of perfume. Some pukey pale malt. Not massively keen. OK, some yeasty flavours.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Redbrown nutty colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. A little sweet week flavor, average finish. Regarding beertype: very watery palate, but still ok.

Bottled (BB 03/2007). Pale yellow, quite big white head. Nose has leather, fruits, cardboard. Medium-bodied. Quite bitter and alcoholic, peppery. Duvel-clone with long bitter aftertaste. Simple but drinkable.

Food white head, fast disappearing over clear gold, big bubbled beer. Very malty nose with greenmalt and a bit grassy. And very dull. Watered down pale malts, retronasal warm summer grain. And sparkling water. Very thinnish. Aftertaste has a very slight hoppy bitterness. This might sound all very bad. Put to put this into perspective, I’ve had some (quite some) foreign lagers that weren’t any better...

Bottled (as Charles Quint Keizer Karel). Dark brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma of dark fruits, malts and spices. Flavour is much more boring, though it contains the same things. Mouthdrying. Some alcohol also noteable, especially after the beer warms up a bit.

25 cl bottle, at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Clear (filtered??) pale golden colour, large head. Slightly hazy in the final pour. Typical witbier aroma and flavour of coriander and citrus.
