Description
Founded on July 1st 2016, Brouwerij De Feniks is all about Living your Passion (in our case : brewing the great beers we love and helping others do to the same) and keep doing what you love no matter what. As you only live once, you will find out at some point that it pays off on emotional/satisfaction and many other levels to follow your passion. Under adversity, if you stumble and fall, or even crash and burn, remember that you can Always rise from your ashes like the mythical Feniks bird as long as you keep believing and continue to live that passion... And if you do, have a great beer on us !

Sample at ZBF 2018, thanks Belgian RB table.

Sample at ZBF 2018, thanks Belgian RB table.

F: thin, tan, not long lasting. C: brown, hazy. A: malty, bit vinous, bit whisky, citrus, caramel, fruity, red berries. T: malty, vaguely fruity, bit vinous, bit mineral, chocolate, molasses, medium to full body, lower carbonation, not bad at all but aroma is more promising than taste, sample draft shared with Germany and BE RB crew @ ZBF 2018.

Very good, ever so slighlty yellowish head over well-carbonated clear golden beer. Cocos, white candi sugar, pale sweet malts, bit spicy, coriander, ginger, mint, pineapple, orange. Coriander takes over the taste. Faint sweetish, again a bit cocos and ginger, but mainly the infernal weed. Finish has rosewater. Quite slick, medium bodied, high carbonation. Coriander. 'nuff said. 6/4/5/3/10

28 April 2018, at Zythos Bierfestival. Deputy Taster: Anke. Rating #1000.
Hazy dark amber to brown, lasting frothy, tan head; some lacing. Intense aroma of ripe peach & banana, peated malt, raisin, fruit liqueur, roasted malt, some caramel. It tastes medium to heavy caramel-like sweet and light roasted bitter, a bit peaty & fruity. Dry, hoppy finish, a bit peppery, with warming whisky alcohol which remains relatively well hidden. Full body, creamy/syrupy texture, soft carbonation. On the sweet side, but enough peat & hops to balance it out. Good stuff!

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled @ ZBF 2018. Red amber. Nose is massive fruit, smells like straight up berry jam, gelatine candy, sugar, desert wine. Taste is a mix of sweet candy, sugar, berries, alcoholic, jam, sugar, pure jam & gelatine candy in a great way, wine is a bit lost, shouldn’t like it but really dug it.
