Bomber. Clear amber body. White, frothy head, rapidly diminishing. Raw, leafy hops dominate the aroma. Notes of caramel, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, soft carbonation. Chewy hops and some raw grain. Thick with lingering bitterness. Floral notes in the finish is nice. Reminded me of a thick, rich Alpha King.

0.5l bottle @ BrewDog, Camden. This is a clear caramel-colored one with a nice medium sized light bubbly and heavy lacing off-white head. On the aroma it's light malty and sweet with hints of fruits and red berries. Smells not extreme, but quite nice. It's a bit thin in texture, and it's average carbonated. The flavor is light caramelly - some burned caramel as well and I get a nice hoppy-bitter flavor. Not extreme or anything, but quite tasty. A bit strawberry-sticky towards the finish perhaps? Almost so much that it could have been a barley wine. Tasty indeed. 22.07.2012

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours really dark brown/black with a dark tan head. Aroma is extremely coffee. Extremely. Near full bodied. Flavor is very coffee. Rich. There may be some dark fruit and burnt malt - but coffee rules. Actually works very well.

Bomber from Pangaea. Pours gold with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma is mildly bready with citrus and grass. Med body. Flavor is fairly bready with a lot of noble hop spice. It’s pretty happy. Definitely bitter, and drinks nicely.

The aroma goes big on the grapefruit. There’s also toast, tobacco and a caramel base. The taste is predominantly lemon with some grapefruit. It’s a surprisingly dry taste which takes a little bit away from the overall quality for mine.

Bottle, 11C. Clear amber with a frothy white head. Low bead. Aroma of citrus zest, pine, caramel, light tropical fruits, pepper. Medium bodied, slightly oily, lowish carbonation that suited it well. Taste has slightly toasty toffee and peach sweetness, pepper, kumquats, a little pine. Dry finish with moderate bitterness and lingering spices. Clean with enough malt flavours to balance the hoppiness at both ends. Not a knockout, but tasty and nicely balanced.

Bottle at Paradiso Dupont. Hazy golden color, large thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma is like hop candy, boy New Zealand really does hops right. Taste is bitter and sour straw, hay, coconut, pineapple, mango. Delicious.

Pours amber with a large, fading head.Nose shows spicy and piny hops along with citrus fruits. Underneath is clean malt.Flavours showcase the hops, with more pine and strong grapefruit. Some clean malt is noticeable underneath, but overall it’s quite dry, with an assertive bitterness in the finish.Body is perfectly light, but not thin.A good brew for summer.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some earthy grass notes with a bit of pine bitterness with a grain backing. Flavor has more of an earthy pine that mellows to more of a grassy note with a hay backing.

50cl bottle pours clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is spicy to almost cedar wood spice, floral hops and a lime like citrus note. The taste has a hoppy mix of floral hop bitterness, spicy hops and lemon to lime citrus like notes. Interesting bright to acidic hop notes.
