Opaque black beer, tidy pale tan head. Fresh palate, a little crispy. Nice dark malt - not bitter or roasty. Strong chocolate tone - cocoa and dark chocolate. Mild lactose. Mild orange hop in the finish.

Golden color, clean, with small compact head.
The aroma is wonderful, immediate impact, plenty of fruits, mango mainly, peach, and a hint of passion fruit; followed by some zesty lemon and more traditional hop smell.
The mouthfeel is round bust also smooth and lean; very good malt flavor, sweet with elegance, not cloying nor hard, dynamic, with plenty of fruits and soft hop resins; strong bitterness, but you don’t even notice it.
Needless to say, the final is long, balanced and vibrant; still carrying the mango and peach forward.
It’s pricey, but it’s also a perfect Imperial IPA as I haven’t had in long time.

Light amber color, hazy, with small head. Excellent aroma of fresh and fruity hops; peach, litchi. Good body structure, but luckily the mouthfeel is lean; toffee flavor, quite dry, with very strong bitterness; the hops provide a lot of soft resins, light piney touch, and moderate orange fruitiness; the final is strong, long, if possible a bit dusty.
Very fresh, excellent.

It says 2011 on the label, I hope it’s not so old. It pours a golden hazy color with medium sized head. The hop aroma is dry, a bit fruity (peach and apricot) and herbaceous, with a sweaty hint in the end. Dry and lean mouthfeel; light malt flavor, with a strong grassy presence; strong bitterness, with soft piney resins and some citrusy fruitiness (oranges mainly).
A good beer, but without the fresh touch.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a small, creamy, tan head. Roasted aroma with coconut, chocolate, coffee and red berries. Taste is sweet and roasted. Medium to full body. Long lasting roasted bitter finish. Quite fine and complex.

(Bottle) Clear golden yellow with good white head. Lovely hop aroma with citrus, pine and stone fruit. Quite full bodied with almost syrupy feel and abundant fine carbonation. The flavour is very clever; it is dominated by interesting and pleasant hop tastes, but is not overwhelmed by bitterness. There is quite a strong caramel malt underpinning to the flavour which keeps things in good balance. A very drinkable high hop content high alcohol beer.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Vintage 2011. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Heavy coffee aroma, somewhat ashy. Medium body, quite a roasty character with distinct coffee note. I don’t really pick up the Filipino coconut though! Roasty bitter finish. Neat alright but no biggie. 250113

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, figs, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coconuts, coffee, figs, and wood, leading to a dry and roasted finish.

750mL bottle, pours a fairly thin black with a small beige head. Aroma of pure coffee, no hint of figs or oats on the nose. Flavour brings out strong coffee upfront, very dark roasted and high quality flavour, with subtle notes of figs, and oats. Absolutely dominated by the strong coffee, subverting any presence of figs and oats. Actually a fairly thin body for an impie, but certainly no weakness on flavours. Excellent coffee bomb.
