02/10/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from the brewery (1 yeard old). Dark red/brown colour with small fading head. Aroma is some malts, cherries. Taste is dark malts (even some light coffee notes), "Kriek à volonté", light sourness, some red wine. Would swear it aged on red wine barrels. Very nice evolution in 1 year.

330 ml. bottle sampled. Purchased @ Willems & Zoon. BBF JUL2016. BIG GUSHER. Deep copper amber, big collapsing tanned head. Nose is hugely metallic, watery with rotting old herbs, stale lavender, touch metallic caramel, not too good. Taste is manageable but far from optimal, heavily herbal, big cloves, metallic, finish is wet leaves, stale kitchen spices,… Overly fizzy & empty. Faint licorice & varnish. Too flawed.

330 ml. bottle sampled. Purchased @ Willems & Zoon. BBF JUL2016. Sparkling lightly hazy golden, creamy small bubbles white head. Nose is mineral, lightly watery, wet paper, lightly metallic,… High carbonation – too much. Taste is odd insecticide, wet paper, mineral, watery, big esters, overly fizzy, tad lingering chemical, floral, wild flowers (not in a good way) finish, pepper, touch washing powder. Meh this one fell short in quite a few way. Not too crazy about the profile & it is far too carbonated, mineral, odd choice of hops etc.

At Villagio Della Birra 2015.Clear dark brown color, tan head. Light fruity, some alcohol scent. Sweet taste, some alcohol. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Grainy, alcohol aftertaste.

10/07/2015 @Brewery on Sint-Amelbergafeesten. Haze golden with nice white head. Citrus, bitterness, some spice, long bitter ending. Nice refreshing.
