Description
Through the centuries, Park Abbey was known for its innovation. This is no different in the new abbey brewery. The production of beers uses modern innovative technology with respect for the basis of medieval brewing. In short, the brewing process of yesteryear in today's installations. What is especially important is the time taken to brew the Braxatorium Parcensis beers. Slow is good. This is in contrast to many larger breweries where the emphasis is on speed and productivity.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen en gedronken met Keukenman. Goudgeel troebel bier met wit schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van sinaasappel en banaan. Smaak is zacht fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Fles gekregen van mijn ouders, geprobeerd met Keukeman en Inoven. Het is een troebel geel bier met een wild schuimende witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een bloemige geur. De smaak is bloemig en kruidig.

WARNING! MEGA GUSHER! Murky light brown colour with soapy head and large amount of residue. Aroma is packed with sweet Bourbon and oak. The barrel really comes through. Very highly carbonated, too much. Taste is primarily bready yeast. Some malt sweetness. Barely anything of the barrel. Nice idea, poorly executed.

Copper colour with thin lacy head. Aroma has bready yeast notes. Nice taste, slightly sweet and cerealy. A touch of yeasty dryness in the finish too.

1/V/22 - 33cl bottle @ In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst, BB: 28/X/21 (2022-472)

Bottle was sold more than six months past date. When I told the staff the beer was not good and past date (tasted completely oxidized), I wasn’t offered a refund or another beer. I was just being told that they had tasted it recently themselves and to them it still tasted ok. Quite a disappointing service.

Pretty cloudy amber beer, big creamy off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, very oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet, very malty, oxidized, some banana, caramel, yeasty, more oxidation, a little bitter. Aftertaste: malty, banana, spicy, yeast, oxidized, marzipan.
