Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6

Acquired via trade. Pours a not-very-pretty yellow color with a thin white head. Light effervescence and lacing. Flavor is light and yeasty with a mild hops presence. Finish is dry and lightly sweet. This style is not among my favorites, and I don't think this one is as good as Flying Dog's or Blimp City's versions. Still, it was not bad.

Acquired via trade. I'm not sure if I would want to be isolated in a snow-covered log cabin for any great length of time with only this beer, but it's not too bad. Pours a standard amber color with a medium light tan head. Thin but sticky lacing. Aroma is spicy and sweet, with faint hops. Flavor contains malt and spices, but neither in good quantity. Sweet finish but it falls flat toward the end. I think a boost to the ABV would help this beer a bit.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Acquired via trade. Pours a light amber color with a thin ohh-white head and mild effervescence. Thin and quick lacing. Aroma is lightly floral hops. Easy-drinking flavor is lightly hoppy with a semi-sweet finish. Not complex at all but a good session beer.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5

Acquired via trade. This is possibly the least wheaty Wheat beer I have tried. Pours a very foggy orangish-yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma of light hops, straw, and citrus. The flavor is very light and carbonated and was more reminiscent of a Lager than a Wheat. Strange. Tasted of mellow hops and not much else. Dry finish. Not very impressed with this one.

Bright amber color with large fizzy head. Stong grapefruity aroma with notes of pine resin and a possible hint of tar. Somewhat candyish or toffeeish in aroma as well, but not in a bocky way. Surprisingly mild flavor with subdued hop flavors (piney) and a nonintrusive malt presence. Light finishing bitterness. Balanced and smooth.

A clean refreshing American style wheat but with some zesty almost minty notes. A good example.

Very nice - aroma is very malty, with a definite caramel note. Flavor is medium hoppy, with herbal hop qualities and overall is pretty well balanced. One of the better session pale ales.

Weird: has the beer changed or was I loony in my previous rating, waxing of vanilla, caramel and fruit? I still think this is great but my current sampling is nothing like that (Personally I think the beer is the same I was the who was off). Near opaque but showing a dark red, with med beige head that lasted well, with light lacing. Aroma was moderate, but hinted at bittersweet chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is more bittersweet chocolate, perhaps a hint of smoke or tobacco to go with roasted malt, and a definite dry finish - as dry a beer as I've had. Very drinkable, a great session porter.

A moderately hoppy amber ale, IMO. Nice crisp but understated hop aroma, and well balanced dryish flavor with some almost smoky undertones (but that could be false - given that I expected it to have a scottish ale flavor at first sampling)

Amber colour; Remarkably toasty nose. Very toasty palate, with a hop jam spread over top for a cedary bitterness.
