Pour is a golden with a small white head. Aroma is deffinatly citrus with a hoppy back bone. Flavor is a bit corny and alcohol. It has a super thick mouthfeel that keps remminding me of a malt liquor. This is tough to get down.

Pour is a bright orange with a almost no head at all. Aroma is very much citrus hops and very little malts. Flavor is a nice hop but again no real malts make an appearence. This is just an average IPA as the hops are there but not in a big way and very little malts show up. Would be a good session though except for the 7% abv.

This is weird. Pours an appealing yellow gold color with a big webby head. But in the glass, I see no rising bubbles. Aroma has hops but they’re indistinct - I get lemon and thyme. Is it saaz? I need more. There’s a grainy breadiness that’s more easily apparent in the nose. Acetaldehyde? More weird is the flavor. Big husky sweet graininess, with a touch of fusel alcohol, and a milder spicy hop, and low levels of bitterness in the finish. Heavy and sticky, not drinkable like a good pilsner. We need to call these double pilsners for what they are: hoppy malt liquors. No thanks.

Bottle. Pours amber, not entirely clear. Dry hop aroma, hop taste, hop finish. Odell set out to make a hoppy beer, and they certainly succeeded at that. Not too impressed by the balance in this one, but certainly a decent effort.

12 oz. Bottle. Pour is amber. Aroma is malt and underneath some faint hoppiness. Taste is a nice malt backbone with just a bit of earthiness in the hops underneath. Nice finish, overall a good amber ale.

Bottle. Amberish copper color. Taste the malt right away, with a nice touch of hops. Sweet, caramel taste is there too. I was quite surprised by this one as I normally am so so with Scottish Ale.

Bottle. All black pour, with a swirling tan head that disappeared at normal pace. Aroma is roasted malt and dark chocolate. Roasted malt and coffee taste. Not a huge body like many imperial stouts, balance was OK on this one, nothing out of the park. Alcohol aroma and taste became present as it warmed.

A good but very simple porter. Thick body and good palate. Coffee aroma and coffee flavor, light malt.

Thanks again to Brewfiend. I got a lot of coffee from this beer in the nose and the flavor. Thick and black but lightly carbonated. Bitter coffee and chocolate in the flavor as well as malt, but this is not there in any quantity and is very light.

Pleasing orange color, with a small but creamy foamed head. Typical amber ale aroma: a touch of herbal and grassy hop, maybe a touch of citrus, then some caramelized doughy malts. Flavor starts balanced, with a bready malt and a spicy hop. Finishes empty, with a light hopping but almost feeling watery. Nevertheless there’s a pepper in the aftertaste, and an overall clean drinkability to this that saves it from just another boring amber.
