A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is malty with a light hop note - very fresh. The flavor is sweet and very crisp with strong notes of straw and some hops.

Bottle thanks to BeerandBlues2. Poured macro yelow with a small head. Aroma is present - old beer smell, some hop (not as much as expected anyway), which was all unbalanced and disorganizzed. Similar in flavor. Flavors were old wood and past its prime hops.

Thanks to beerhandy for this one - a pretty standard porter - roasty, with a dry, mineral quality - lactose, some hints of cocoa - light bodied for a porter - a good session beer.

Beautiful amber color. Simple aroma of maiz flour. Simple taste, with some caramel. A failure. Boring.

Heavily carbonated. A light brown beer, nothing about it stands out as good or bad. Some hops in the aroma and flavor; a little bitter. Simple but good.

Certainly plenty of malt to go around in both aroma and flavor — as a Scottish style ale should have. Mostly sweet with fruit notes. Then there are the hops, present in both aroma and flavor and especially in the noticably bitter bite in the aftertaste. A good, flavorful brew with a nice balance between malt and hop, but I am not sure this is true to the style, though I would not hesitate to drink another.

Cloudy reddish-amber colour. Very yeasty aroma meshing with dark fruits. Big malty notes, at times seemingly oxidized but at other times very fresh. Hints of toffee, but mainly toasty with little hop character at all.

Pour is a nice black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is a deep roast of chocolates and malts. A nice texture to this brew. Very smooth and silky.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeasty and lemon. Citrus also is most of the flavor and also some breadyness. Sub par at best for the style and there are better out there.

Pour is a dark red with a white head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Flavor is a mix of malts and sweet dark fruits. Lots of woody and earthy notes make an appearance as well as some hops on the swallow. Been waiting to try this for awhile and i can say i was missing out on a tasty brew. Goes well with my cigar.
