Cool label on the bottle, but this is an amber ale. Pours a light amber color with little head and grainy aromas. Flavor is similar... a kind of uninteresting amber ale with caramel malts and mild hops... kinda sweet... kinda sticky... kinda meh...

12oz bottle pours deep amber with red ruby edges and thin tan head. The aroma has an expected bold barrel component with sweet bourbon, some wood and vanilla. I get really no beer in there. The taste is nice with smooth bourbon, some sweet vanilla, slivers of wood and then flowing into some chocolate and a mild level of nuttiness, oh and an even lighter note of roasted malts. The barrel has swallowed up the aroma whole but has merely accented the flavor.

Bottled. A hazy dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with a light touch of acidity and notes of herbs and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet and acidic and strong notes of herbs combined with light notes of alcohol and metal, leading to a dry roasted finish. The alcohol bites lightly in the tongue. Thanks to Papsoe.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a clear dark orangey brown with a huge and frothy off-white head. Sweet roasted nose. Medium body, sweet roast and quite some licorice. Some malt astringency. Not a bad Porter. 270411

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of CaptainCougar. Hazy, dark brown with a tint of orange and a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and vitamins - and then a distinct tartness. Medium body with sweet, roasted malt and then the sourness reappears. Clearly infected - sad. 030707

12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is coffee and roasted dark malts and faint hop spiciness. The flavor is very sweet, with a strong bitter chocolate. The palate is thick and silky, with slight alcohol warming in the finish. Overall, a classic porter, with no frills, but well done.
