Tap. Straw color. Mild gain aroma. Well carbonated. On the sweet side for the style, and decent palate. Easy drinking as a pale lager substitute.

On tap at several locations near Salida. Nice copper color, thick head. Mild hop aroma with pine and citrus. Flavor has some sugar, and also hops but is only moderately bitter. but it is good flavor and seems to be fresh. Retried several years later from a can. Substantially better this way, lots of fruit, some flowers. Sugar. Good ipa.

Bottle @ Stephen’s house. Thanks Andre! Pours a black appearance with a thin tan head. Really nice, soft coffee aroma with some dark chocolate, vanilla, slight whiskey aroma. A bit spicy. Dark chocolate, mild whiskey, earthy, lightly bitter flavor. Not as much whiskey as I remember having but still kind of fun.

On draught at The Kitchen in Denver. The beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with lots of rising bubbles and a medium fizzy white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, malt and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Blond, slightly hazy and a little bit grassy. Lots of sweet pale malt. Sweet palate, some grassy hop, light wheaty tartness but a touch of footy yeast character as well. As a klsch goes, this would be fairly sweet, borderline out of balance.

Coffee nose, sweet fudgey malts, lots of richness. Sweet, milky vanilla coffee character. Tons of sugar, rich body, maybe too sweet for me but it is a good dessert beer.
