Description
Founded by Olivier de Brueker in 2016 the Brasserie Lilloise is a craft brewery located in the heart of the Lille Metropolis (Northern France). We think that to make an excellent beer only the best raw materials should be chosen. The region rich with its brewing history has managed to preserve a know-how that allows us today to use almost exclusively the hops from Boeschepe (50 kms from our brewery), and barley and wheat coming from the Northern France. We are fully committed to work only with the best ingredients, and some nice berries for our Rouge beer! The time and craftsmanship are the keywords.

75cl bottle shared with Eric and Soph in Eecke after returning from England / Stratford-Upon-Avon. Pours a misty blonde, pure white head. Aroma of pale malt. Flavour profile of pale malt, but bears a noticeable thorny side that's not particularly welcome, a somewhat relaxed sweetness toned all the way down. So-so.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazed gold, good white head. Breezy citrussy seems to be the order of the day, with a strong lime hint, moderately sweet, bitter finish. Not bad.

hazy pale yellow colour, large, dense ecru-ish white head; aroma of pear, apple peel, grassy, lemon peel, slight vanilla and barnyard notes; tasteis similar to the aroma with some hoppy and bretty notes; not bad, though not a typical IPA, for sure

1/II/25 - 75cl bottle @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging (Ledeberg), BB: IV/2026, L240044 (2025-88) Thanks to Peter for sharing the can!

Clear blond yellow beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of CO2, yeasty, banana, more yeast, some coriander. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, grains, a little bitter, hay, cow fodder, meh. Aftertaste: more yeast, a bit malty, very floral, soapy bitterness, nope. Not very pleasant.

330ml bottle as part of a Christmas gift pack from Eric & Sylvie. Hazed blonde appearance, large white head. Spot on blonde with a comforting yeasty sweet character, everything in proportion. Lovely.

75cl bottle shared with Eric for Soph's birthday in Eecke. Pours a clear gold, good white head. Malty nose. Nice enough blonde, fairly simplistic, balanced malty character, just sweet enough with a mild bitter hop close. Fine.

330ml bottle from, I suspect, Leclerc Hazebrouck. Pours a deep dark colour, slight haze to it, good tan head. Aroma of deep toffee, candy rock. Lovely sweet brune to taste, good deep toffee with some milk chocolate notes, pillowy smooth head, quite easy-drinking for the strength. Lovely.
