Clear medium golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, light citrus, melon, grain, light hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, bit fruity, light spicy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, bit earthy feel, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Partly succesful try to make a different beer by Bali Hai.

Indo tick? Honestly this can says nothing about where it is from. Guy at the shop said India, which is much closer than Indonesia (it’s just a few hours upriver to Mizoram). Dull gold. Aroma is spicy, touch grainy and a shot of alcohol. Sweet, sticky, with a pretty stiff shot of alcohol in the finish. I have had way more reprehensible 12% lagers than this. I mean, this cannot be from Bali Hai, whose flagship is a clusterfuck of brewing flaws. This is better - minimal faults for a type of beer that is almost impossible to brew this cleanly. Weird. And dangerous, if I finish this can, I’m kinda fucked.

F: medium, white, poor retention. C: gold, bit hazy. A: malty, bit grassy, almost some herbal, grainy. T: herbal sweet, grainy, sweet grassy, BB: 03/18 so it seems not to be spoiled, bit oxidation and also almost mint tones also, oh I forgot it is specially blended for tropics so that’s why taste is so strange, medium body and carbonation, 33cl bottle from local Indian supermarket in Baie Lazare, Seychelles.

Can cheers to TerryTickerDJ; clear yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has sweet, taste has sweet malts, doesn’t drink 12%, why isn’t this a malt likka. --- Beer merged from original tick of El Diablo Super Strong Brew on 27 Aug 2017 at 14:43 - Score: 4
