500ml @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, man!) shared with Faress and a gang. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: very nice and fruity with some farmhouse notes. Taste: quite tart, lots of rhubarb, some malty notes. Overall: a bit more tart, than usual, but it's still a good one.

Poured from 500mL bottle (date stamped 20/10/2023; thanks Derek & JF). Hazy gold with small white head. Tart rhubarb with gentle barrel character, decent.

Hazy, golden-orange colour with a warm, off-white frothy head, good retention and foamy lacing streaks. Big citrus-juicy aromas with some raisins notes, piney, apricots, honey and a touch of berries, wax, wood. This continues in the flavours with a tad more on the piney-raisin side, than citrus-fruitiness. Some light dryness cuts the thickness of the brew. An interesting juicy, hazy IPA with lots more than the citrusy notes.

Poured from the tap @ Vices & Versa. Clear-ish blonde gold with no head. Nice white wine vinous notes, skins, slightly subdued, but enjoyable.

Poured from the tap @ Vices & Versa. Clear amber gold with small off white head. Light caramel malt, mild citrus hops, light alcohol hit, soft mouthfeel. Decent.

A blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grapeskin, light cork, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with tart mix of ground cherry, grapeskins, light cork, light buttery notes, pleasant. On tap at Sans Taverne's Festival des Bières Ouvrières 2024.

Clean, golden colour with a smaller, off-white frothy head, decent stay and leaving spots of foamy lacing. Getting some milky-vinous aromas with notes of raisins, white grapes and a touch of citrus. The grapes continue in the taste with some pink grapefruit notes. The mouthfeel is crisp and the drying is milder in this one. Gets a slight hazed as it pours and passion fruit flavours do come out. An easy Pale Ale with lots of fruitiness, and less grassiness.

Des houblons aux allures d’agrumes s’imposent au nez dès le départ. On y perçoit également des traces de conifères et de résine issue du dry-hop. Les accents maltés sont cependant très discrets. Liquide brun clair avec des reflets cuivrés. Limpidité presque parfaite. Mousse assez épaisse, crémeuse et bien persistante. L’entrée de bouche se veut légèrement fruitée avec une touche très subtilement caramélisée et chocolatée. La fin de bouche est très houblonnée et amère, mettant en vedette des notes de conifères, d’agrumes et de résine qui trainent longtemps dans le fond de la gorge. La base maltée est plutôt en sourdine mais assure quand même un profil sucré qui s’allie bien au fruité tropical des houblons. Une Brown ale puissamment houblonnée dont l’amertume entre en confrontation directe avec la douceur des éléments maltés. Je dirais plus que nous avons affaire avec une Brown IPA qu’une Brown Ale Américaine. O:5.83 V:4.71 G:8.02 C:4.13 G:11.75 T:34.44 Elle demeure quand même agréable pour les amateurs d’amertume intense.
