Blonde with yeast floating. Light hoppy aroma with the slightest hint of pear. Firm hopbitter flavor with vanilla and a touch of yeast. Hint of citrus. Surprisingly good!

2004 version. Chocolate and apple aroma. Roasted malt flavor with chocolate. Just a little sweet and thin. Roasted bitter aftertaste. Burg is making good progress. Blindfold test: 2005 version Light colored for a bock. Yeasty aroma. Milk chocolate, licorice, caramel. Slightly herbal.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Citric, flowery aroma, with just a touch of spices. Spicy flavor (coreander?), sharp and thin. Citrus. Pleasant thirst quenching beer. Tasty for its modest ABV.

Bottle. Amber color, cloudy. Only vague cherry and strong yeasty notes in the aroma. Hint of cherry and yeast in the flavor. Fairly dry, grassy. Drinkable of you ignore the off-flavors.

2013 bottle. Augustus Evolutie 3. Beer brewed in 2011. Bottle. Brown color. caramel, chocolate and soft vinous notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, caramelly with soft vinous notes. Red fruit. I still don’t see the point of aging this beer for years.
