Bottle. Pours clear yellow, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is light, but if dust, hint of lemon, brett, field grass. Flavor is not really tart, touch of funkiness. Clean and good. Medium body, soft mouthfeel.

Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a white head that was wishy washy. Pleasing bretty aroma. Not quite med body. Dry. Nicely bretty. Some fruit notes, but Brett is the thing. Always.

Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan and transient smear. Aroma of cinnamon and bourbon. Full bodied and very very smooth. Far from dry. Not much to compensate for the sweetness. Not much heat. Flavor is dark toasted malt, cinnamon, bourbon and some coconut. Oddly a touch of Kraft caramel. Exceptional flavor.

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. A mild haze on this dark brown beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth malts, creamt spicy toffee and caramel..Huge rich bourbon, ripe fruits and a ton of bourbon spice. Airy finish. Robust.

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate malts, a little milk chocolate, very mild vanilla. Loads of savoury rich bourbon , rich ripe fruity bourbon. Spicy bourbon finish. Very rich bourbon affair.
