Poured from 375mL bottle (batch #3). Near black with minimal beige head. Very nice bourbon barrel forward, lightly hopped American-style barley wine, rich and boozy, Very nice, but not worth the cost at all, some cognac comes out as it warms up.

Can from Tavour. Pours lightly hazy gold with a large white head that slowly laced in the Teku glass. Aroma of slightly tart, citrus, and pale malt. Medium body. It’s quite dry and somewhat tart bitter. Extremely good flavor.

(Keg at Haka, 20260607) The beer poured deep red and quite clear. Tiny white head. Aroma had berries, light sourness, and light tartness. Palate was medium bodied dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were sourness, berries, light tartness, cherry stones and light bitterness. Aftertaste had tartness, berries and bitterness. A good and balanced brew with clean berry notes.

12.7 oz bottle. Aroma is peppery, banana custard, clove. Pours hazy golden with a half finger bone-white head that settles into a ring fairly quickly. Taste has light banana and clove notes with some background hop bitterness.

Moderate haze on a golden to deep orange pour topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is grass, pineapple, mandarin, straw.
Taste comprises orange zest, grapefruit, sweet edged malts, hop spice, pine resin.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Okay TIPA ... grew on me but comes over a touch sweeter and heavy handed than the better examples of this sub genre.
