US Pint can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is over moderate bitter, light sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, juicy mango, melon, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy grapefruit gold with a slight transient white head. Aroma of green melon and something like garlic. Med body. Juicy in an unusual way. Definitely bitter. Flavor is earthy/green melon, dank fruit, some citrus. It's really flavorful and very very complex for me. Super delicious.

750 mL bottled December 2014, batch 2, SP Stout Week line share, 2/18/24. Clear, bright marigold-hobey-amber. Little/no head. Big honey, light bland cardboard (oxidation) with peppery phenols and fruity cognac in the somewhat mellow nose. Surprisingly little/no oxidation in the flavor, and instead it's a classic English Barleywine character full of rich toffee, vanilla, fruit, raisin and dry phenol in the finish. Cognac slowly makes itself known but certainly helps add dryness and complexity. This has held up insanely well in the flavor and texture. It still has a pleasing chewiness and rich malt depth to it. No booziness.
Middle. Penta-vertical 3/3. A bit heavy compared to the other two. Loads of stingy barrel, oak, wood, prunes, caramel, syrup, some chocolate sauce and toffee. Intense but tasty.
Left. Penta-vertical 2/3. A lot more barrel notes here, also more chocolate sauce, bourbon, toffee, syrup and mild roastiness, hints of licorice and woody notes. A bit more aggressive than blend 3.
Right. Penta-vertical 1/3. Surprisingly smooth, slightly warming with loads of chocolate sauce, hints of caramel, prunes, berries, soft oakiness, vanilla, cocoa and barrel notes, hints of molasses. Complex and surprisingly balanced slow sipper. Tasty.

bottle - shared during Dart Night - cellared for a few years. I loved this - felt more like an imperial stout, but best baltic porter ive had, no questions.

Refrigerated 12 oz brown bottle (batch 17). Dark brown with no head. Aroma is rich malt, medium body, no carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is rich malt, wood, and nice liquors. Not worth $90.

Niesamowite piwo. Niesamowity piwny deser. Boskie.

Bottle from Tavour: pours yellow with white head. Honey and light straw and funkiness. Slightly tart and earthy. Not too sweet. Solid.
