Aromas are citrus, spoiled food and malt. Flavors are similar to nose. Spoiled food is tamed down. Mango comes out. Along with a little pineapple. More sweet than tart or bitter. Okay carbonation and full body.

375mL bottle, pours jet black, almost no head. Nose is decadent as all hell, with intense coconut, huge bourbon, oak, dark sugars, and some vanillin. Flavour is extremely intense, with decadent coconut, dark sugars, molasses, deep bourbon, vanillin, alcohol, and some caramel. Rich, sticky, sweet but not cloying, coconuty and barrel-heavy. Absolutely wonderful.

Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight rusty tan head. Aroma of chocolate and rye. Very thick in body. Not dry. Bitterness from roast malt and heat. Bitterness does not obscure the malt. Flavor is rye spice, chocolate, whiskey (not bourbon) and maybe a wood note. It's very smooth and quite tasty. Heat is very smoothed out. Quite unusual for the ABV?

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy grapefruit with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrus and green melon. Med body. Juicy but fairly dry. Definitely quite bitter. Flavor is green melon, passion fruit and citrus/pine/resin. Excellent flavor, especially considering the low ABV.

Wow smells like a glass of tropical fruit juice. Huge tangerine juice vibes, too. The thiolizing yeast just pumping out the fruitiness, good god. Sparse malts behind it, showing mostly cracker, but it's low in bitterness so doesn't seem a problem.
Hugely fruity with vibrant but not overdone bitterness. Maximum fresh squeezed citrus juice with lots of tropical fruit accents like kiwi, passionfruit and papaya. Body is very light and I wouldn't hate a boost there, though as mentioned, it's not overly bitter so it doesn't need a lot of balancing malt. There's a bit of chalky, earthy dullness on the end, not quite sure what it's from. Doesn't quite carry through from start to finish, but boy did they get quite the fresh squeezed juice character up front.

Can.
A- Golden yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head.

A- Lemon, grapefruit.

F- Grapefruit pith,, lemon rind, subtle grass, bitter, faint lactose.

T- Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.

O- Okay, wanted a bit more lemon or citrus flavor as the name makes me really think meringue pie. Felt pillowy on the mouthfeel. I suppose this hits that in typical IPA fashion but it just wasn't quite for me.
