Sweet, syrupy and roasty with some barrel, booze, coconut and earthiness. Heavy and too sweet, slightly better than v1 but still not great

12.7 oz waxed bottle. Pours like motor oil with an immediately collapsing tan head. Aroma has notes of cinnamon, orange, chocolate, nuts, licorice, alcohol, molasses. Taste is highly sweet, fairly bitter, alcoholic. Very rich—definitely a sipper.

Undated can drunk 8/21/25.
Lightly hazy, blonde-brass. Frothy, white head, decent retention.
Clean, lighter, light peach and minimal coconut. Pepper and dill. Light tropical fruit and stone fruit rind. Very dry, seemingly.
Dry but amply malted, juicy. Some pepper and mild toasted coconut with unripe mango and a hint of dill. Gets creamy and fruity on the finish with snappy, herbal bitterness. Love the maltiness and attenuation.

Thanks Clark it’s been a long time since I’ve had an Anchorage brewing. Yellow orange and not that hazy of body and soapy head. Nose sunshine wine and grapefruit and stone fruits. Tastes of peach , and sunflower seeds, grapefruit, and herbal, some bubblegum.

Team tasting at CBJ, thanks to Wingman for the can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate, a little sort dark chocolate cream. Rich bourbon soaked ripe fruits. Mild alcohol spice. More ripe bourbon on the semi dry finish. Rich.
