ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. A mild haze on this amber brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light bodied malts but very rich, mellow dark chocolate, bitterish dark toffee, a little oak induced vanilla. Big bourbon and whiskey. Rounded but very rich. Rich fruity bourbon. Oak induced vanilla. Rich bourbon spicy fruity finish. Bloody Nora!

Aroma is semi sweet oily, hazelnut, green apple, raisin, fruit,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, Warming alcohol, bourbon, cognac, nice warming alcohol, vanilla, oak. Palate is semi sweet, oily, staves, oak, boozy fruit. Palate is medium sweet, oiky, moderate carbonation. Fantastic.

Aroma is semi sweet, meaty roast, intense dried fruit, boozy fruit cake, tangy. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brown sugars, brown sugars, caramel, intense vinous fruits, alcohol. Palate is medium sweet, spicy alcohol, Warming, moderate carbonation.. Lovely.

Lighter shade of black with a golden tinged tan cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is toffee, figs, caramel, fruit cake mix, dates, prunes.
Taste comprises mellow bourbon, spice, dates, toffee, hint of chocolate, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid sipper.

ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived tan head. Light palate, smooth and mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness, vanilla and a little toffee. Super smooth fruity bourbon. Smooth finish brings a mild bourbon spice. Very much a barleywine that serves the barrel but, so smooth.

Pours jet black with no discernable head. Notes of fig, dried boozy fruit, prune, molasses, vanilla notes, black treacle, brown sugar. Hint of booze on the finish. Delicious

Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, vinous fruits peanut vinous funk. Warming alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet nutty condensed grape fruits, caramel, brown sugars, spicy notes, green oak, plum. P. Palate is medium sweet, oiky, intense, mellow carbonation, viscous.. Hides the abv well.

ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Near opaque dark amber brown beer, small and short lived tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fairly light bodied malts on this 23% brew. Trace of dark chocolate, bitterish dark toffee underneath. Big savoury bourbon and whiskey, fruity and a little oak induced vanilla. Light semi dry spicy finish. Delicious.

Pours black with no real head. Muscovado sugar, boozy dried fruit, prune, cacao, molasses and black treacle. Really mellow and smooth. Delicious.
