Hazy orange body that throws up a tall, long-lasting, sticky white head. nice lacing. Citrus hop aroma is mixed with a yeasty leather one. The flavor is a strong hoppy bitterness with an underlying Belgian yeast tang. The malts are totally in a support role in the back of this flavor profile. Interesting beer. One of the best examples of Belgian IPA. It definitely has Belgian characteristics and IPA characteristics which many of these fail to demonstrate clearly..

Bottle, 9%. Good grapefruity and citric hop aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is nicely citric, has a little Nelson Sauviny notes. Grapefruity flavour and bitterness. Clean and refreshing. High bitterness, but pleasant. Woody notes along with the citric notes and quite a bit of alcohol bitterness in the finish.

Deliciousness, with waves and layers and complexity, all coupled with a tiny bit o’ funk. The peppercorns provide a nice oomph to the periphery, while the pinot noir adds a depth to the Brett-inspired weirdness. Lovely pinkish hue, lovely punkish taste, with a rollicking finish that dances between funkay, the tiniest bit tart, and dry and oaky. Killer bottle.
