Amber colour, hazy. Very perfumey, light acetone, vanilla (that's the barrel). Strong body, moderate sweetness, good malt flavour, it has a very bold barrel character, vinous, light acidity, old hops, a complex flavour profile, leading into some astringency.

13/6/2020. Can from Beer Republic online store. Pours black with a large beige head. Aroma of vanilla pod, milk chocolate, sweet pasty, toffee, touch of dark and tropical fruits, with chocolate limes. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet doughy finish. Enjoyed this, it's good all round.

Raiting #5001. 750ml (thx, Eric D.!) @ home shared with Alex and Andrey. Appearance: a bit hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: nice funk, barrel, a bit sweet, creamy. Taste: along the same lines with some acetone notes. Overall: not bad.

ABV: 5.5%. Cloudy dark black brown colour with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, coffee with milk - coffee with cream. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, coffee with milk, chocolate, cooca, coffee, milk chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, light ash. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20200430]
