Bottle from Bernie’s Real Ale Off Licence, Solihull. Gushed a hazy straw colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is grainy acid citrus. The flavour is acid citrus with a light crisp refreshing yeasty citrus fruit, light spice palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle: Red-lit brown with a small, creamy beige head. Caramel, dark bread, vanilla aroma. Taste is sweet, chocolate/raisin malt, a mild, earthy bittering. Drinks pretty darn easy for the 8.5%......quite smooth.

Bottle share, thanks to Steve. Yellow orange pour with a small head. Big peach aroma, ripe and rich fruitiness. A little bit of tart funky bugs in the aroma, but mostly rich with peach. A fruit filled sour taste, a little more funky and sour than fruit like the aroma. Well balanced fruit and sour with a moderate acidity.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, lemons, spices, and bisquits. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, hops, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy yellow, thin white head. Aroma is cereal malts. Taste continues with a smooth, malty sweet character. Like the other O So’s I’ve tried this lacks a nice crisp bitterness.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy amber, good white head. Aroma presents leafy pine hop with a citric nod. Taste is fruitier, but slick and rather tame with an unfortunately low bitterness. Sweet malt base takes president. Despite the criticisms it’s a nice sipper.

750 ml bottle. The beer is a medium-light golden color. Somewhat hazy, depends on the sediment. The head is white. Good amount of lacing and good retention. The aroma is full of dusty, fruity brett and citrus/fruity hop flavors. Big peach, grape, tangerine, pineapple, mango. Sweet hay maltiness. Bright and fresh and funky. The taste is mildly bitter, picks up a touch in the finish. It has some initial sweetness, full of ripe fruit sweetness, but it gets very dry particularly toward the end. Lots of brett flavor. Juicy and very pleasant.
