Bottle - gusher. Sour sweet fruity malt aroma - smells and behaves infected. Hazy pale amber with a large loose head. Yup, I’d say infected. Sour toasty malt, and herbal hops flavor. Medium body.

Thanks Adam for sending this over. 750ML enjoyed at cellar temp in a stemmed wine glass.

A - Plum brown pour but looks pretty dark brown in the glass. Almost no head. Cork was impossible to remove..ended up using a corkscrew.

S - Nose has a mix of funk, leather, prunes, figs and caramel maltiness.

T - Taste is nice. Sweet but still dry, lots of fruits and malty backbone. minor hint of vinegar, cherry pie and graham cracker.

M - Nice mouthfeel eruption but thin and oily finish.

O - I really enjoyed this beer. It has all of the nice malty characters followed by a sweet tart candy like sour. Really great.

Thanks Adam for sending this over.

A - Almost black, creamy persistent head.

S - Nose is peanutty, chocolate and eggs. Very bright and bourbon comes in nicely.

T - Peaty taste...nice smokey charcoal backbone that sticks around long after drinking. Sort of a fruit and caramel backbone. peaches and cherry. Creamy espresso finish with vanilla and oak.

M - Creamy, oily and heavy

O - Surprisingly full of a lot of flavor for a 6.7% beer. quite enjoyed this one.

Tap at the Brickhouse. Opaque black body. Steady beige head. Big chocolate aroma. Comes off sort of like a big Milk Stout. Some fruity lacto pungency going on under the massive sweetness. Milkshake rich overload. Coffee tones start to come through. A beast of a beer to be served by the pint glass. Not sure if it just the lacto, or there are cocoa nibs or what, but this is intensely sweet. Chocolatey, sugary. Solid.

Bottle - Oatmeal and big barrel notes with oak and a bit of sweetness. Jet black with a thin brown little head. Big barrel notes with the body of an oatmeal stout. Oak is overwhelming.

Taster pour at Big Barrel Tararrel 2013, and then back for full sizes. Thick opaque red-brown. Big off-white head. Wow. This really works. Captures some of the subtle lactic Oud Bruin notes quite well. A touch big for the style, but really refreshingly funky and great. Not unlike a full bodied Rodenbach.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Deep red-brown-black body. Thin, off-white head. Mellow, malty aroma. Big and sweet, odd amber chocolate flavors. Not much depth or hop character. has no finesse, no Scottish feel other than a lack of hop. Boring.
