Almost clear dark brown beer, no real head. Palate is slightly crisp and semi dry. Really nice Flemish sourness, not too sharp. Nice tart dark fruits and a whisper of balsamic vinegar. Light sherbet candy fruits. It’s all really well integrated. Light dry finish. Really nice Oud Bruin.

Tap at Sugar Maple 2012. Orange-amber body, steady off white head. Creamy and sweet, sort of falls short, but semi-authentic. Mellow amber malt tones, very cloudy. A very enjoyable beer, but maybe not World Class stuff. I have had this beer again in 2013 and it has soured tremendously, the Brett really took and turned into a full fledge sour..rerate imminent.

Hazy deep red - amber brown beer with a decent pale tan head. Palate is airy and a little soft. Sweetish malt with a little toffee caramel. Mild aniseed. Nice chocolate streak with mild dried fruits. Touch of malt cream. Finishes semi dry. Well joined up and fruity bock.
