12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is heavily bitter. Pine resin with grapefruit and citrus. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, awesome. This could be an everyday drinker for me.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a mostly clear, light gold with minimal head. Aroma of light citrus with some oddly dank malt. Taste is light lemon citrus. Probably a decent summer brew, but kinda boring.

Tap at Sugar Maple. One of the cooler WI beers, I always look forward to this. Way lighter in color than the previous few years. Smooth and sweet, very maple forward. A touch buttery, in a maple syrup way. Reasonable, drinkable despite the big ABV. THe maple syrup really smooths it out. Great maple tones, not much amber malt thankfully. Not as good as previous years. Rich, but easy going.

Tap at Vintage. Pitch black body, respectable rusted beige head. Wow! Massive chewy caramel bourbon tones. This is really quite fantastic, a different creature than normal NT, which I used to love. Sweet caramel booze, not much heat, but lots of chocolate covered depth. One of the better WI beers out there. Approaching world class but not quite there.

Tap at Vintage. Hazy ruby-red brown. Thin glass lacing beige head. True to style smoked malt aroma, roasty, fresh. Smooth and creamy, medium bodied. Chocolate amber malt tones, very malt centered, not much hop character to speak of. Super enjoyable, thirst quenching, rather mellow and subdued on the smoke...think Spezial Lager more than Schlekerla Marzen. Meaty, smoky mellowness.. Excellent.

Opaque dark brown beer, not much of a head. Smooth palate, semi dry with very mild carbonation. Nice barrelling. A little wood and a very small amount of bourbon and mild coconut. A little red berry fruits on the back end. Mild spice. All this on a smooth dark malt base. Finishes smooth with a trace of licorice. All flavours in good balance.
