Pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roast malt, coffee and dark chocolate in the nose. Medium to full-bodied with flavors of roasted coffee, chocolate malt and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a vanilla mocha aftertaste. Above average overall.

16oz tap at Old Fashioned. Minty and correct. Nails it there. Kind of a brown IPA though. Still solid.

Bottle thanks to demmbonz! Pours crystal clear orange, large creamy off-white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is Brett, a bit of nail polish, oak, vinous, hay, pepper. Flavor is light sweet but drying quickly, light funky, but with a bit of a medicinal quality rather than strong barnyard funk, light bitterness. Medium body, high carbonation.

Random single picked up at Woodman’s for a buck something - pours a slightly hazy gold - nose smells fairly Belgian in character (so much so that I think that it is supposed to be a Belgian ale, not a golden ale) - esters of banana and pear, light white frosting sweetness, light grainy malt, light citric acid - the approach is very tart and acidic, so much so that I wonder whether this is infected or supposed to be like this - notes of melon and lemon rind - light grain - mild esters - finish of pear and prickly acid, even a light bit of funkiness - again, hard to tell if infected or intentionally tart - in situations like this, I assume infection - either way, some interesting aspects in the nose, but overall hard to enjoy.

750ml capped bottle shared by Brandon. We want to like this beer, its got a good heart. However, its just the perfect example of improperly handled Brett. Its goats oil, too herbally. Its all that is, I mean its good for poor Brett.

Bottle - lightly hazy light orange - soapy lace - musty, lightly funky, lightly musky nose, with light notes of gingerbread, crackery malt, mildly tropical.Brett character (mango, pineapple), some herbal hops - flavor has some barnyard funk phenolics up front - this is followed by moderately tart acidity, some white grape skin - fairly dry, with some grassy, herbal bitterness on the tail end, with lingering musty funk - the finish is particularly brash, acidic, and unrefined, with a strong, woody, lingering bitterness - the finish particularly diminshes the experience, but there are some decent attributes.

Tap at OF. Unfiltered brown, hint of burgundy. black. Foamy off-white head. Smooth chocolate tones, fruity UK yeast. Pretty true to style taste wise, maybe a pinch bigger in body. Pretty solid venture. Good balance.

Tap at The Spot. Massive overbearing whiskey aroma. Steady creamy beige head. A very tasty beer, brown malt merges with whiskey caramel. Sweet, boozy finish. Retains a hint of Doppelbock even with the hardcore barrel tones. Unique.

Nitro Tap. Pours clear golden, medium supper creamy white head, lasts forever, great lacing. Aroma is pot, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is the same, medium honey sweetness, light dank potty citrus bitterness. Not harsh. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Interesting and tasty.
