Tap at Sidedoor. Unfiltered brown-copper-tan. Thin oily white head. Really not that impressive at all. Thin, weak malt tones. Thin, weak sour tones. Mild tropical citrus notes. Just wholly an unimpressive offering. No finesse. Drinkable, but not good for the style. The only thing it has going for it is the mild tropical fruit nuances.

12 ounce bottle shared at the July MDF tasting. Slightly hazy golden, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of sticky resin and earthy hops, caramel malt. The taste is bitter piney, citrus, resin hops, grainy and caramel malts. Medium bodied, low carbonation, moderate lingering bitterness.

750 pours with a nice deep dark body that supports a tiny tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a hurried amount of thick molasses, chocolate and then some nice juicy chili pepper fruitiness. OK. The taste starts smooth and kind of thick with yummy chocolate and malt to molasses sweetened dark roasty maltiness. It then quickly jumps into an ever growing flow of chili pepper that end up into the finish and after taste with a firm burn to the palate. Pretty nice but the heat could be tuned down just a tad. After a few more samples some spicy oak is revealed alongside a mild yet out of place sour fruit sort of note that takes a bit more away from the experience.

Many thanks to Rian for sharing. Nice idea of putting a hop cone into a bottle. The beer has a sweetish body with a subtle layer of hops, that could be a bit more intense. Floral hints with malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Nice bitterness, but way too less hop profile. Still nice.

Tap at The Spot. Opaque caramel brown/black body. Foamy rusty beige head, laces the glass. Pleasantly pronounced coffee aroma. Deep burnt black chocolate. Creamy, thick, sugary. The coffee adds a nice touch, depth. A little thin/DME-ish, but still a solid end product.
