Sampled from the tap at Lucette. Pours a near clear very pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet and tart lemon, wheat and a touch of yogurt. Flavor has a nice tart lemon note with some sweet wheat and just a hint of yogurt.

Tap at OF. Unfiltered brown-black. Steady beige head. Orange black ale, pretty straight up. Not great, not so bad. A little syrupy and sub par like most Oso product these days. Meh.

Bottle. Nose is very funky, strawberry, peach, sherbert, underlying yeast, musty hay barn; slight clove. very inviting. Taste is funky, straw, floral, cloves, grain, grassy, more funk, as it opens there is a little leather, lemon and orange peel, herbal. Mouthfeel is good. An excellent, dry farmhouse ale, with good earthy funkiness; I’m really surprised by the lukewarm reviews.

On tap at Funk Factory Pre Party. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates completely. Aroma has notes of chocolate and sweet dark grains with a hint of cherry underlying. Flavor is a bit muddled with tart cherry, chocolate and habanero with a strong dark grain backbone.
