Pours a hazy golden color with thin white head that stays a while. Citrus aroma, flavor is a bit watery, some fruity elements. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Drinkable, but not exactly outstanding.

Bottle. Amber coloured beer with a good head. The aroma is yeasty with some toffee, and the flavour is hopped and toffee with a bitter and yeasty finish. Overall an average bitter.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton Another beer that I’ve been drinking for years, but never rated before. Pours a hazy dark chestnut, with a dense cream head and good lacing. Nose has malts nuts and vanilla – but not in any great quantities. In the mouth it is sweet and malty with main flavour that of barley sugar sweets. There is corn in there and hints of caramel and summer fruits as well. Finish is sweet and sugary. A pleasant beer, but a bit bland.

Puh, in der Nase echt plädderich, optisch dafür recht hübsch. Gottseidank nur wenig Prozent, somit sogar erträglich. Somit halt sehr künstliches Karamell, schlimmer Abgang zuweilen.

Bottle from the local Lidl. Light brown with a creamy head. Aroma of roasted grains. Taste is bittersweet most of the way through, mildly bitter at the end. Light bodied, watery texture. Clean and drinkable but absolutely nothing going on.
