0.33 bottle. Pours dark brown with no head. Unpleasant aroma with slight coffe notes. Watery texture and disgusting coffee-like taste. Short finish, light body.

0.33 l bottle. Pours deep amber with no head. It has no outstanding aroma, but it may be bc i put it in the freezer. Hoppy bitterness appears im taste, but noting much more, not bad, bit quite one dimensional. Light bodied, easily drinkable.

Bottled. It could be a drinkable enough, light IPA but the unfortunate sweet, grainy-ceraly notes in aroma and taste ruin it. What a pity.

Bottled. Pours hazy golden and white head. It has slight, weizen-like notes in taste, and these are even weaker in taste. Some banana, yeast, short finish. Ends in watery, short finish and has very light body. Not bad in particular but painfully mediocre.

Bottle at home. Hazy yellow with average longing white head. Nose is grains, some honey, slight fruits. So is the taste, I found it somewhat surprising that the weizen notes are indeed detectable under the obvious pear. Light body, soft carbo. Expected worse tbh.

Can from Asda. Clear gold with with some residual bubbles on top. Aroma a little weak but getting apple skins and confectionary sugary notes. Taste has a slight stewed apple tang, icing sugar, sweeteners, semi-dry finish. Body is light but not watery and has a high carbonation. Perfectly drinkable if sub-standard which is all you can expect for the price point and its what Aston Manor are all about, grim though that may be. Only joking about Asda. I have young children so my humour has adjusted to a slightly childish slant.

Can at 5%. Clear pale straw colour, brief fizzy head. Aroma of pear skins, some sugars but not overly sweet. Its slightly syrupy but has a reasonable fruity pear taste with a mild tartness in the finish. Again not overly sweet thankfully. Very basic but pleasant and rather good for the price which is unusual for Aston Manor.
