Description

Bottle @ home. Very hazy reddish brown color, small off-white head that diminishes quite quickly. Very pleasant hoppy aroma strongly upfront. Taste malts, again way more hoppy than I had expected and nicely hoppy bitter. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Although the appearance is really ugly, the beer is really nice. I like it!

Sampled from bottle thanks to Joes. Murky very pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly citrussy, citrus peel tart, good bitterness. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle, courtesy of makuun through ELS. Pours cloudy dark amber. Aroma is hoppy pumpernickel, bread, and grassy hops. Body is medium, burnt bread, bitter, nuts, some caramel, too hoppy though. Like a really weird black IPA. Still, quite good.
