Description

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Hazy mahogany with beige head. Caramel, light nuts, herbs, lots of weird spices and herbs but not in a very aromatic way, more subtle and adding to the nice lasting bitterness. Medium bodied with slick dry finish. Not bad!

Tap at Foeders, Amsterdam, 17th January 18. Pours an orange brown colour, slightly murky, head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is pine and faint citrus. Taste is pine, bitter citrus, slight sweetness and some bold malts, with a little yeast and warming alcohol. Good.
