Description

33cl Bottle bought at De Bierkoning. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of bready malts and sharp grassy hops, some pine and light fruity. Flavour is light sweet, light fruity, some yeast, but mostly bitter, grassy, strong bitter finish. Medium bodied. Reminded me a bit of XX Bitter. Good.

On tap @ Tilburgs BF. Strong hoparoma (bitter & aromahops), a bit of fruit. Taste already quite bitter, which only becomes stronger, with a harsh bitter finish. Not very well balanced, but I liked it anyway.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam, Netherlands 21-06-10 Pours amber with a white head, bit sour (not sure if intentionally so?) Fruity a bit saison like though again I’m not sure if this is intentional, a little sweetness, not impressed at all. A5 A3 F5 P2 Ov10 2.5

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Clear dark ruby brown colour, dense off white head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, bitter dark malts. Flavour is dark fruits, bitter chocolate, malts, caramel, a bit of alcohol, light bitter finish. Medium bodied. This is actually how I think the watered down version (Poolvos) should taste.
