Description

Tap @KBC ’11 Den Bosch. It’s a nice beer, easy to drink IPA. I like the colour but it doesn’t have the ’wow’ factor. Smells better than it tastes.

Doesn’t taste very much like a tripel. Bit more hoppy than the avarage tripple. Big cloudy foam head. Not very sweet and a bit dry. Smells a bit funky, but the taste is very nice, scoring an 8. Mouthfeel close to perfect.

Bottled 330ml (brewed 031210, bottled 110111)
Thanks bierkoning!
Hazy murky orange color, huge cloudy white head. Peppery, fruity, orange peel aroma. Light to medium bodied. Very hoppy (for Belgian beer) flavor, peppery and fruity. Reminds me about Taras Boulba. Solid though quite yeasty.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body and a small off-white head. Boring nose with a cellary, earthyness and caramel. Hints of fruits. The flavor is a bit better, still rather boring. Caramel, fruityness and some bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. A boring one, not well crafted either. 110129

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s an almost clear, golden beer with a decent, off-white head leaving lacings. Hop-dominated aroma and flavor with some hints of pale malts. Citrus peel and pinecones. Medium to full body, nicely carbonated. A pleasant beer, but it sort of feels too one-tracked. Drinks easily, and quenches though. 110129

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy amber beer. Big fluffy white head. Airy semi dry palate. Some alka seltzer spritzy dry malt but then some decent hop bitterness, mostly grapefruiy and fairly fresh. Not bad, not very Tripel like but I enjoyed it.
