Description

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an opaque nutty brown with a light brown head. Fruity aroma, a little yeasty with a hint of roast. Medium body, hard bitter roast, very chocolatey and distinctly Belgian in style - I believe it’s the roast. Hard roast finish. 260911

Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and a bit of tar. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, bread, and wood, leading to a dry roasted coffee finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle in Amsterdam. Pours clearish, red-brown with a big, beige head. Dark malt nose, cocoa, hints of earthy and citrusy hops. Light sweet flavor, dark malts, a little dusty, bits of roasted cocoa and coffee beans, dry earthy bitterness. Medium in body with lively carbonation. More medium roast malts in the finish, some moss and leaves. Could be sweeter. Nice beer overall.
