Many thanks to my Summer Santa 2018. Smooth grainy bitter beginning. No raspberries, grain with a moderate bitterness. Round and refreshing with a malty bitter ending.

Fles 33cl thuis. Rook- en rumtonen komen eerst naar boven, daarna de zilttonen. Licht zompig, wat dof en droog. Licht bloemig en hoptonen in de nadronk. Goede balans. Apart. Prima. (27-7-2018).

Bottle at Kent BF 2018. Clear dark red beer lasting cream head. Scottish ale. Malty strong beer. Dark and red fruits. Dry beers. For a strong beer it's very drinkable dry. Good.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoetzuur met iets van citrus, bloesemkruiden en kardemon. Aparte smaak voor een tripel maar daarom zeker niet slecht.

Pours dark brown from the bottle. A creamy beige head turns thin. Aroma is bitter chocolate, oak, charred grains, vanilla. Taste is sweet to bittersweet up front, a burnt bitterness takes the upper hand afterwards. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Warm and alcoholic with whiskey notes at the end. Pretty good.

330ml bottle. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is caramel roasty malt. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a smooth rich roasty, liqouirce, charcoal, dry coffee, light chocolate, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
